Reduced mobility

The Videotron Centre has been designed to allow full access for people with reduced mobility. Elevators and access ramps are located throughout the building to ensure a comfortable, accessible experience for all. 


Building access 

Door 9, located on the West side of the building near the box office, is reserved for visitors with reduced mobility. There are also automatic doors at both entrances to the lobby, as well as at the box office and the gift shop. 

Public transit 

STAC (paratransit) 

The STAC adapted public transit service drops users off at door 9, located near the West entrance to the Videotron Centre, and will accompany people with impaired mobility. For assistance inside the Videotron Centre, please contact our customer service agents. 

A direct line to the STAC service is available in the lobby near the gift shop. 


RTC

RTC Métrobus lines 801 and 802 also serve the Videotron Centre and are wheelchair-accessible. The stops near the arena are designed for easy boarding and deboarding. New: The shuttles to concerts and Remparts games at the Videotron Centre are now wheelchair accessible.

Rest rooms 

Each restroom area at the Videotron Centre has a wheelchair-accessible toilet and an accessible urinal with grab bars. There are also many stalls equipped with grab bars for customers with reduced mobility. 

 

Food service 

All food concession counters are at an appropriate height for serving wheelchair users. 

 

Vertical mobility 

The Videotron Centre has eight elevators, two per quadrant, providing access to the two concourses and the two levels of corporate boxes. 

Parking 

There are parking spaces near the West entrance reserved for visitors with reduced mobility who have a valid parking badge. 

 

Tiered seating 

The tiered sections accessed via the main concourse have 27 wheelchair spaces and the tiered sections accessed via the upper concourse have 28 wheelchair spaces. There is a seat for a companion for each wheelchair space. All of these spaces have perfectly unobstructed sightlines. 

Accessible seats with swivel armrests and obstacle-free access from the concourse are located throughout the tiered sections. 

Wheelchair loans 

Wheelchairs are available free of charge. Just ask a staff member in the lobby or at the counter at the entrance to the boxes. You will need to leave a piece of ID, which will be returned to you when you return the wheelchair. The wheelchair must be returned in the same condition as when loaned and to the same location. Unfortunately, it is not possible to reserve a wheelchair.
